On 15 and 16 September 2021 the Brabanthallen in Den Bosch (Netherlands) were the central meeting place for the entire BeNeLux value chain in the field of materials and coatings. With 100 exhibitors and over 60 speakers, Materials+Eurofinish+Surface 2021 provided a comprehensive overview of the latest developments within the entire materials science and surface technology chain.

Although the organisers look back with satisfaction on this event, there will be no Materials+Eurofinish+Surface event in 2022. This has been decided by the professional associations VOM and ION as well as Mikrocentrum. The main reason is the continuing uncertainty and ever-changing policy measures to combat the COVID pandemic. This requires great flexibility and effort from organisers but also from exhibitors and visitors. Moreover, we see that many traditional trade fairs are postponing the organisation of their fair from spring 2022 to autumn 2022, confronting the market with an oversupply of trade fairs in a very short time frame.

A new MES will be on the agenda in 2023. More information will follow in short notice.
